Details of item to be added: MOTION: That the town collect baseline data from all neighbourhoods for traffic counts and traffic speeds in next 12 months.

RATIONALE: Important to implement Active Transportation mitigation for safety /comfort, ages and abilities on all our side streets. Enables town to plan and address traffic impact from 339-345 Island Highway development (bylaw 1128) on View Royal Avenue and exits to Island Highway. And Erskine Lane + Watkiss Way, etc. Further now the town has changed the zoning regulations (bylaw 1135 and 1139) to comply with provincial regulatory requirements. Essential information to consider where /kind of traffic calming measures will be required and when.

List any attachments: Lastly, important information for the coming OCP reivew. As well, the planned Transportation Master Plan review and DCC review to follow (how to pay for anticipated $18m sidewalk implementation.)
