a) Parks Truck Purchase - 2019 Chevy Silverado 1500 Replacement

Staff Recommendation:

THAT Council approve the purchase of a 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 work truck from Jenner Chevrolet Buick GMC Ltd. (View Royal) in the amount of $51,200 net of GST to replace the 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 work truck, funded from the Machinery and Equipment reserve and ICBC;

AND THAT the 2024-2028 Financial Plan be amended accordingly.

b) Interim Housing Needs Report

Staff Recommendation:

THAT the report dated July 31, 2024 from the Senior Planner titled "Interim Housing Needs Report" be received;

AND THAT staff be authorized to attach the "Interim Housing Needs Report" dated July 31, 2024 as Appendix F to the Town's 2020 Housing Needs Assessment Report;

AND FURTHER THAT staff be authorized to submit the amended 2020 Housing Needs Assessment Report to the Province to fulfill the legislative requirements.
