Good morning,
My name is Hilary Riches, and I am a parent of a rider at Greater Victoria BMX. I'm reaching out because we will be hosting the Vancouver Island National Championships in Colwood, September 6-8, 2024.
We were wondering if the Town of View Royal would be interested in helping out. When we went to Vernon Nationals last summer, the City of Vernon had put together little "swag bags" for all the riders. They were little cloth bags and they included an A&W lollipop, a dairy queen coupon, some local coupons and info, etc.
We will be hosting BMX riders of all ages and skill levels, and will have participants from all over the island, as well as the mainland, Okanagan and even the United States.
