Subject: Add to business arising please
Hello all,
Please add this to Business Arising portion of tonight's agenda.
Last Committee of the Whole Transit gave a presentation on the Rapid bus Infrastructure Project. This came from Council's request to find out more about the Atkins Mobility Hub, the park and ride and the need for the traffic light. Unfortunately, Transit did not come prepared to discuss the hub. Attached is an enlargement of the drawing Transit has for the intersection (shown on page 12). As you can see it clearly shows the intended park and ride on the top left. That is NOT the current CRD Atkins Park and Ride as shown by the middle image. The below image is what transit provided to View Royal in /around 2016.
I am adding this to the agenda to again request Transit to please provide the whole drawing ... the intersection, the latest park and ride concept, the apparent re-design of the Galloping Goose Trail, the impact (if any) on Price Road residents and so on. I know MOTi is working on this on behalf of Transit, but that is no excuse for keeping View Royal Council in the loop.
Thanks
John
