Mayor Tobias called the meeting to order at 5:01 p.m.

The Mayor acknowledged that the meeting is being held on the traditional territory of the Songhees Nation and Esquimalt Nation.

Report dated May 1, 2023 from the Director of Finance

The Director of Finance, and the auditor, C. Vanderhorst, gave a presentation to Council regarding the 2022 consolidated financial statements and audit results.

Council and Mr. Vanderhorst discussed asset management and replacement plans, future costs, and the difference between surplus and reserves.

THAT the 2022 audited consolidated financial statements be accepted. CARRIED
