I am concerned that Council and staff are attempting to move forward with the OCP Update which has been based on an outdated Housing Needs Report and the highly flawed recommendations of a consultants report. I believe this would be a case of throwing good money after bad while putting our homes and community at risk.
I implore you to take a step back and create an accurate Housing Needs Report using current data. Without that you are knowingly introducing errors into the OCP Update while selling our community down the developer drain.
I also took part in a couple of walk abouts where we felt more guided than asked our opinion, that hardly qualifies as community input.
