Dear Mayor and Council.

On April 5, 2023. Town Of View Royal Engineer, Ivan Leung & Thetis Edge Strata Council had a meeting on and about the pathway that leads to our building into Nursery Hill Park.

Ivan Leung suggested that I write to the Mayor and Council and request work to be done on the “Towns” property. With permit.

All I request is planting 10-20 snowberry bushes along the path right by my windows and deck. It will help block my windows and prevent neighbors from loitering, smoking, staring and dog defecating.

My condo unit is super unique and built into “Nursery Hill Park”. “Garden View” is the purchase description when I bought my beautiful condo.

Consideration was not put in, as to how close the path would come to my home windows and how much of a nuisance dogs and rude dog owners are. There is literally no separation except a piece of glass. Which I tinted and have blinds.

Some neighbors verbally threaten me. One even spits on me every time she walks by twice a day. I don’t feel safe living here.

I’ve sent in evidence in the past with video and pictures to represent my story. Ivan is aware the trail is also to steep and is not “accessible”. The video of the elder women falling on the path should be enough evidence.

The signs View Royal put up have done nothing to deter off leash dogs. And the placement of the “no dumping sign” is not even in the park. All the cigarette butts scattered are going to burn my home and Nursery Hill down.

Please! Please! Please! HELP me. I’ve paid off my mortgage and I pay my taxes. I’ve been a resident of View Royal for 40 years. A few bushes will help me tremendously.
