What we are asking for

  • We are asking for endorsement in principle for:
  • 2-3 Miles along a suitable trail within the CRD, including the Galloping Goose, that may or may not be in View Royal pending assessment and work with the CRD for testing
  • No cost to CRD or the Town of View Royal
  • We are interested in evolving the technology and manufacture not in operations
  • We may save the CRD money in widening the trail along the test route. Once testing is complete rails can be removed and you have a very durable sidewalk

What we are NOT asking for

  • Any consideration for the E&N or Island Corridor as they are advancing important Regional negations with local First Nations
