Re: Staff Report, Recommendation for Council Resolution, Notice on Title, Section 57 under the Community Charter 14A Helmcken Road, Victoria BC

Please be advised, the Town of View Royal’s Building Department is seeking to recommend that Council pass the following resolution at Council’s meeting on March 3, 2015:

“That pursuant to section 57 of the Community Charter, SBC 2003, c. 26, Council pass a resolution for the filing of a notice with the Land Registry Office against your land with a civic address of 14A Helmcken Road, Victoria, BC and a legal description of Lot A, Section 9, Esquimalt District, Plan 35416, Parcel Identifier: 000-345-342 (the “Property”) for failure to comply with the Town of View Royal (the “Town”)'s Safe Premises Bylaw No. 652, 2007, Town's Property Maintenance Bylaw No. 512, 2013, and British Columbia Building Code, which contraventions relate to the construction or safety of the building on the Property.”

Enclosed with this letter is a copy of staff’s report to Council with attached documents that will be presented to Mayor and Council at the Town of View Royal Council meeting being held on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at 7:00 p.m., View Royal Town Hall Council Chambers, 45 View Royal Avenue.

This notification serves to give you or an advisor an opportunity to speak to Mayor and Council on the matter at hand.
