Letter from neighbors opposing the common access roadway from Jedburgh Road due to privacy and traffic volume concerns.

8.1a Development Variance Permit No. 2015/02 - 17A Jedburgh Road
March 9, 2015Ron & Wendy StevenotSuggest extending Bishan Place instead of using Jedburgh access

Town of View Royal

This letter is in response to the Notice of Processing an Application for a development Variance Permit. Your Notice dated the 2nd day of March, 2015, envelope postmarked March 3, 2015. we received Friday, March 6, 2015, therefore impossible to make your deadline of March 3, 2015.

Our concern is regarding the common access roadway. we do not oppose the 7 houses to be built but we do have concerns with the road access to be off Jedburgh. Our bedroom window faces the existing driveway and would not want to have a road there. the number of cars could be 14 or even more with visitors we also don't feel the Jedburgh can handle that many more cars. we feel that a better solution would be to extend Bishan Place to accommodate the new homes.

Thank you for considering our concerns.
