Refurbishment scope of work - 315 Stewart Avenue
A letter from the property owner, Abel (Shin-Long) Cheng, detailing the specific components of the dock to be replaced and refurbished.
The refurbishment scope of work broken down:
- Concrete Pad: Replacing existing concrete pad (4'x4'x8") to fasten pier to shore.
- Pier & Ramp: Replacing existing 2 wood ramps (28.9' x 3.2' and 11.5'x1.7') with aluminum pier (25'x3') and aluminum ramp (20'x3')
- Concrete Footing: Existing 2 piling will be refurbished with concrete footing (2'x5') and piling to anchor the pier and ramp.
- Dock: Replacing existing dock (31.2'x11.5') with new dock (24'x10)
Overall, anything that is coming in contact with any surfaces will be replaced in its original and current position. In addition, the footprint of the new dock (the part that is actually in contact with water) will be approx. 33% less than the currently existing one. All points of contact with any surfaces are drawn and specified in the drawings. In this way, we are trying to adhere to the city requirements as closely as possible.
This proposed scope of work is further detailed within the enclosed drawings.
We hope these drawings have met your requirement for approval. Please let us know if there are any further questions or concerns regarding our submission. We look forward to hearing back from you soon.
Thank you for your consideration,
Abel (Shin-Long) Cheng Owner
