A few municipalities have advised that in view of the imminent Local Government Association meeting dates, it would be possible to avoid a one year delay in considering the resolution at UBCM by forwarding the resolution directly to UBCM for consideration at this fall's annual meeting.
Therefore would your Council kindly give consideration to forwarding the resolution to UBCM for consideration at the 2015 fall meeting in order that it may be included along with the other 37 Municipalities that have been asked to consider this resolution to help reduce GHG emissions in BC.
