Dear Mayor and Council,

I have moved into 327 Stewart Avenue on Limekiln Cove in the house where the float planes used to land in the 1940's. I want to build a dock at this location for my own personal use. I am a kayaker and the way things currently are on my property it is not possible for me to safely get my kayak down to the water.

The previous owner, David Cassel removed an existing deck structure that was below the high waterline. What is left on the property is a 1.5m by 2m platform which drops off to the rocks below.

I have followed the private dock developmental guidelines provided by View Royal. Please find enclosed: a) a plan for the dock b) photos of the area c) elevation chart d) report from biologist
