Dear Mayor and Council:

I am writing to provide an update regarding the on-going discussions around policing in the West Shore area. I have received written confirmation from the City of Langford that they will fund and resource three Regular Members and two Municipal Employees effective immediately. As a partner community in the West Shore Detachment area I would like to suggest and recommend that the City of View Royal also explore their ability to fund and provide additional resources, specifically one additional regular member and one Municipal employee.
