THAT Storm Water Regulation Bylaw No. 902, 2015 receive first three readings.

AND FURTHER THAT the June 10, 2015 Storm Water Regulation Bylaw 902, 2015 report be received.

PURPOSE OF REPORT:

To provide an update regarding 'Storm Water Regulation Bylaw No. 902, 2015', and establish first three reading.

BACKGROUND:

The attached bylaw was introduced to Council April 14, 2015 with the attached report.

The bylaw was then referred to select parties for comment. Those parties associated with the Codes of Practice listed below were invited to provide some feedback.

  1. Automotive and Parking Lot Operations Schedule "F"
  2. Development and Construction Activities Schedule "G"
  3. Outdoor Storage Operations Schedule "H"

INFORMATION:

To summarize:

May 8, 2015 - the Town sent out letters to 28 businesses in the following categories:

  • Automotive and Parking Lot Operations
  • Development and Construction Activities
  • Outdoor Storage Operations

May 22, 2015 – a reminder letter was sent, reiterating the above

May 29, 2015 – the Town received three responses from:

  • Adams Storage
  • Starr Motors
  • A Developer

All three responses were general inquiries about how they would be impacted; there were no comments with regards to the content of the bylaw
