June 16, 2015Concerns about TRIO 'stench' and traffic noise

FEEDBACK SHEET

HALLOWELL ROAD OPEN HOUSE - JUNE 16, 2015

1. Please briefly describe your interest(s) in the topic of this Open House:

  1. Prefer to have Hallowell Road bike lane on "South" side of Hallowell Rd.
  2. Assurance that intersections into Hallowell Rd from 1st Nation is regulated & kept to minimum.
  3. Assurance that TRIO does not make big "vile compost stench" as they did 2 weeks ago.

2. Please tell us how much you access / use Hallowell Road

  • Everyday

3. By what mode of transportation do you primarily use on Hallowell Road?

  • Automobile
  • Walk/Scooter

4. How close do you live to Hallowell Road?

  • Other: please describe: 11 km away.

5. Do you support the proposal to allow truck traffic on Hallowell Road?

  • Possibly – provided: 1) Truck exhausted emmissions are in check, 2) Noise + Dust is kept in check.

Other Comments We are "very" excited to have the bike corridor connected from Hallowell Rd to downtown so are in favour of this effort. Very concerned about the TRIO "stench". Cannot let that happen on any regular basis.

6. Do you have other solutions that you feel have not yet been considered? Please share your thoughts on the back of this page.

  1. Suggest MOTI extend the 2nd lane along Craigflower NW from Admirals so more cars can make the left turn during rush hour.
  2. IF (1) cannot be done, extend the double left turn lanes on Admirals heading North @ Craigflower to accommodate more left turn vehicles.

Please describe your solutions below or sketch the idea in the box provided.

Sketch your idea!
