Dear Mayor and Council,
I understand that next week you will be discussing lifting the weight restrictions on Hallowell Road. As a resident of View Royal I think lifting the weight restrictions would be a good idea as I believe that the land on the Esquimalt First Nation is deemed industrial, and if it isn't, I could see where that would be a good use of the land, especially since Trio Ready Mix is at the corner already of Hallowell and Admirals.
As a cyclist it would be nice to somehow see the E&N Rail Trail finished from Maplebank to Hallowell as right now you have to cross Admirals at Maplebank and then again at the light at Hallowell. I realize that that is not part of View Royal but any help we can give the First Nations would be great.
