RECOMMENDATION:
THAT Council adopt the Council & Committee of the Whole 2016 meeting schedule.

PURPOSE OF REPORT:
To provide Council with the 2016 meeting schedule for Council & Committee of the Whole as attached hereto as Attachment "A".
DISCUSSION:
The 2016 UBCM Convention is being held in Victoria, BC from September 26-30, 2016 and the AVICC Convention is being held April 8-10, 2016 in Nanaimo, BC. This means that neither convention will impact the proposed Council and Committee of the Whole 2016 meeting schedule.
In keeping with past practice over a number of years, the first scheduled meeting in January is the Committee of the Whole as the Town Hall will be closed for winter holidays and will re-open on Monday, January 4, 2016.
