We will convey to Council the advice provided to you. The tree in question was not a species planted by the Town of View Royal. The tree was located more or less on the property line. The Town has agreed to and has removed the tree and the roots from the driveway and will be repairing/constructing some retaining wall. The driveway has been in poor condition a long time even prior to the date on which your family purchased the property. We will provide photos of the property in addition to your letter. Staff cannot justify replacing the driveway.
