5) Annexure 5: Conclusion and objective: Application for Re-zoning to allow Secondary Suites

The residents of Nursery Hill Drive would like to apply to the Town of View Royal for the following:

a) An amendment and change of the current secondary suite By-Law No. 601, to allow residents to apply for legal secondary suites. b) Extending a personal initiation to members of View Royal Town Council and staff to visit the residential area and familiarise yourself and members on how we live as a community and compliance with the Town of View Royal By-Laws. We look forward to meeting with you to visit our neighbourhood. c) Various residents on Nursery Hill Drive have received letters from the Office of the Town of view Royal for inspection of their homes and decommissioning of suites. Due to the impact and until approval of an amendment to the By-law, the residents kindly request a freeze of the current inspection and decommissioning process until Council can come to some agreement on this.
