Letter from H. Sharma re: Application for Rezoning Nursery Hill Drive

Subject: Application for re-zoning Nursery Hill Drive (Lakeside Estates)

The residents of Nursery Hill Drive would like to make a request to your office to re-zone the 23 single family homes, to allow the residents to have legal secondary suites. Presently the existing by-laws do not allow this. Most of the strata lots, # 1 to 23 are 558.6 square metres to 762.6 square metres.

We are attaching a petition signed by the residents of Nursery Hill Drive in favour of changing the existing zoning CD-9C to a zoning which will allow secondary suites.

Some of our residents have already received letters from your office regarding Secondary Suites; resulting in inspections currently being carried out. We would like to make a request for these inspections, including those already carried out, to be put on hold until we can come to some agreement on this.
