a) Parks and Public Places Bylaw No. 986, 2018, Amendment Bylaw No. 1095, 2022 A Bylaw to Amend Parks and Public Places Bylaw No. 986, 2018
Council and staff discussed distance from property lines and trails, hours for camping in parks, analysis of geospatial information, and availability of toilet facilities.
The Chief Administrative Officer noted amendments to the bylaw will come forward in January and a map can be included as a schedule to the bylaw.

RISING REPORT
QUESTION PERIOD
a) A person from the audience asked how or if the Town’s bylaw enforcement capacity would increase in the near future and what the anticipated need for bylaw enforcement may be in the longer term.
b) M. Wiltshire, 14 Erskine Lane, questioned whether the Town could do a comparison with other municipalities in the region regarding camping in parks for consistency.
The Mayor assured M. Wiltshire that this work had been part of the bylaw’s development over the past three years.
