It has come to our attention that the Town of View Royal would like to donate to this organization on behalf of its citizens.
I would like to voice my family's concern over the Town of View Royal's support for suing big oil. We are supporters of the O&G industry, in our opinion the back bone to this country. As a family that has the utmost respect for the environment, this approach is not how respecting the environment is accomplished. It is just further spending in the name of "climate change" that doesn't make any difference to our lives. Preventing nature from being destroyed at our local level should be our priority (ie keeping as many trees as possible).
We do not want to be part of this organization by (indirectly) contributing to it. We ask that you please manage our money more appropriately and in an objective manner.
