The Council approved a development permit for 4 Watkiss Way, including variances for height and parking. Significant time was dedicated to hearing public concerns regarding cut-through traffic on Rudyard and Stormont Roads, where the Mayor acknowledged the difficulty and history of the issue. Council also resolved to invite the West Shore Parks and Recreation Member Owners' Group to meet regarding financial and governance issues, and approved sending a letter of support for the Salish Sea UNESCO World Heritage Site application.
