Notes to the Financial Statements
2016 is the first full year of operation of the Juan De Fuca Performing Arts Centre Society. The organization has gone through the government registration process, including the name search, the BC registry filing, and the website registration. It is financially supported by operating grants from the City of Colwood, the District of Highlands, the Town of View Royal, and the Town of Metchosin. The Society collects annual membership dues from individuals and organizations and accounts for these contributions as revenue. The Society Directors meet regularly throughout the year at a facility provided free of charge by another not-for-profit organization. Meeting expenses are contributed by the Directors.
