PARKS MASTER PLAN
RECOMMENDATION:
That Council adopt the June 2017 Parks Master Plan as presented.
AND THAT the 2017 Parks Master Plan Action List be brought forward as part of budget deliberations for 2018.

PURPOSE OF REPORT:
To present Council with the final draft of the Parks Master Plan.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The Parks Master Plan was before Committee of the Whole in April 2017. At that time Council requested additional changes to the waterfront access map. Staff have also made amendments to the Parks Inventory and have included a map for each park and a standard template that will be easy to update as infrastructure improvements are made. Finally, a new appendix was added with all of the action items and a status line so that we may monitor plan implementation. Additional editing was also completed as part of the final review of the draft plan.
The 2017 Parks Master Plan is now ready for adoption by Council Resolution.
