Re: Request for Change in Terms and Conditions
The Licensee would like to request a change in the terms and conditions of the license to allow for minors to be permitted in Person 02 and 03 of License #303194 during catered events where the focus is not on entertainment or the service of alcohol. This request is to meet community needs for multifunction and banquet space for events such as weddings, birthdays, charity events, conferences, etc. This request for minors only applies to the attached banquet floor plans (Configuration 4, 5, 6, 7). Configuration 8 – Standing Reception would not include minors.
Access for minors would be through an external entrance, separate from the gaming area where minors would not have to view or cross the gaming floor. When accompanied by a parent or guardian the minors would access the second floor where person 02 is located through a staircase. Signage stating "No minors beyond this point" will be posted at all potential access points to the gaming area.
Washrooms are available without leaving Level 2, with washrooms being located directly adjacent to the Person 03.
The security plan when minors are present would include additional security personnel posted at the top of the escalators and elevator which would prevent minors from accessing the gaming floor.
