Dear Ms. Gorman:
Re: Regional Vegetation Management Strategy
At their meeting held March 25, 2019, Council considered the above noted matters and resolved as follows:
“That Council direct staff to write a letter to the Capital Regional District and all member local governments indicating Council’s interest in participating in a co-application submitted by the CRD on behalf of its members to UBCM’s Community Resiliency Investment Program for the development of a regional vegetation management strategy.”
During discussion of this matter, Council noted their interest in attending a meeting with the CRD and member local governments to receive additional information on the proposed regional vegetation management strategy prior to committing to participating in a co-application to be submitted to UBCM’s Community Resiliency Investment Program.
