A BYLAW TO ESTABLISH A RESERVE FOR CASH IN LIEU OF PARKING
The Council of the Town of View Royal, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows:
This Bylaw is cited as the “Cash in Lieu of Parking Reserve Bylaw No. 1022, 2019”.
A Cash in Lieu of Parking Reserve is established for the specified purpose of depositing and using funds for the following purpose:
a. Providing off-street parking spaces b. Transportation infrastructure that supports walking, bicycling, public transit or other alternative forms of transportation
Money in the Cash in Lieu of Parking Reserve, and interest earned on it, must be used only for the purpose of funding off-street parking spaces or transportation infrastructure that supports walking, bicycling, public transit or other alternative forms of transportation.
