2 APPROVAL OF AGENDA
Grades twelve issue areas critical to quality of life

April 12, 2019

Mayor Screech and Council Town of View Royal 45 View Royal Victoria, BC V9B 1A6

Dear Mayor Screech and Council,

The Victoria Foundation would be pleased to make a presentation for you on the findings of this year's Victoria's Vital Signs® report. The thirteenth edition of the report was released in the fall, just prior to municipal elections. The report measures the vitality of our region, identifies significant trends and assigns grades in twelve issue areas critical to our quality of life.

This annual community snapshot stimulates discussion, debate and action by underscoring the strengths, weaknesses and opportunities in our region. A presentation to council will provide valuable information about what is going on the region and in your municipality.

For more than a decade, Vital Signs has provided important information that has increased our understanding of our community. We're connecting donors to needs and opportunities, making impactful grants and convening people on issues of importance.

If you would like further information about a Victoria's Vital Signs presentation, please feel free to contact me at 250.381.5532, or sandra@victoriafoundation.bc.ca.

Sincerely,

Sandra Richardson CEO
