We would like to comment on the variance application for lot 13, section 24 property 371 island highway.
We are opposed to the variance request.
The location of proposed driveway to adjacent lots will increase vehicle traffic and cause disturbances to surrounding neighbours. Also, the possibility of causing traffic delays exiting and entering the busy highway along that stretch of road coming around the corner. This could increase possibility of accidents coming around that blind corner to vehicles exiting the new driveway location.
We don’t agree that the purpose for the variance of the driveway is appropriate for the size of the current neighbourhood.
