2021 UBCM EMERGENCY OPERATIONS CENTRE GRANT APPLICATION APPROVAL
RECOMMENDATION:
THAT Council approve the application for the 2021 Union of British Columbia Municipalities (UBCM) Community Emergency Preparedness Fund (CEPF) Emergency Operations Centre Grant;
AND THAT, once notification of funding approval has been received from UBCM, staff bring forward a report to Council.

PURPOSE OF REPORT:
To establish a Council resolution in support of inform Council that, on behalf of the Town of View Royal, the View Royal Emergency Management Division will be submitting an application to the 2021 UBCM CEPF Emergency Operations Centre Grant Program for a grant to purchase EOC supplies, equipment, training and exercises for the amount of $25,000 to complete the project.
