As a resident of 14 Erskine Lane please add my name to those requesting an on site meeting with the developer. This is a major project impacting all of us at 14 Erskine and Stoneridge.
The developer made commitments, now it’s time to take action on these commitments. A meeting to address our concerns is requested as soon as it can be arranged.

Subject: Erskine lane development
Good afternoon,
Along with the fellow residents of erskine lane I have concerns about the new development and safety.
I have young children and live alongside the back where my children have access to the road. Recently there has been an increase in large vehicles speeding by and I worry this will only become worse as time goes on and the development behins. I worry for the safety of all children of erskine lane, as well as those who walk their dogs alone the road or when walking in general. I would appreciate if the widening of the road and privacy hedges would be a priority to allow us some comfort in knowing that safety is a priority to all parties involved.

Dear Mayor and Council,
I understand that #9 Erskine Lane is coming up again at tonight's Council meeting. I have reviewed the developers new presentation and have the following concerns. I know many of the residence at #14 Erskine lane agree with these points.
We understand that Erskine lane will be widened to 18 m. There will be one sidewalk on their side. This needs to happen asap as we are already seeing multiple trucks transiting our very narrow street . With cars, dog walkers and now big trucks all trying to share this very narrow road it is only a matter of time before we have an accident. Also, During the open house the developer promised a privacy hedge on our side of the street . We absolutely need this hedge for several reasons. As the construction begins it will help keep down both noise and dust . After completion it will not only offer us privacy but will give residents of the new buildings a greener view. We need to get the hedge planted asap as already we are seeing a dozen trucks a day transit Erskine Lane.
Trees were to be marked so that the removal of these trees is transparent to everyone. This has not yet been done..
Why is the City allowing a reduction in parking spaces? During both the open house and town meetings you heard many of the residents of Erskine Lane complain about only having 436 and now they are asking to be allowed to provide only 324! It's my understanding that this goes against town bylaws for parking spaces and should be enforced by town staff and the council. Residents of 14 Erskine lane are totally against reducing the number of parking spaces.
We would also like the town to consider spending some of the $1.7 m on Community improvements in consultation with both Erskine Lane and Stoneridge residents.
Finally, We would like to ask the developer or his representatives to have an onsite meeting with representatives of both Erskine Lane and Stoneridge.

Also Mayor and Council we would appreciate being advised by Council as to what is occurring at #7 Erskine Lane the old Marine repair shop site as well as number #10 (I believe) which appears to be an abandoned home in disrepair with someone driving their 4 wheeler at the rear of the property creating an impact on the beautification of the neighbourhood.
