a) K. Tse spoke on behalf of the owners of 38 Helmcken Road. She stated that her understanding is that the property taxes for 38 Helmcken Road were paid on time through CIBC online. She noted that she feels the owners should be given a grace period and not have to pay the $3,000 late penalty.

C-105-21 THAT a report from a policy perspective be provided to Council regarding the application of property tax penalties for electronic payments where the Electronic Data Interchange document for the transaction indicates payment after the due date. CARRIED
