The Director of Development Services noted that currently food trucks are only permitted within a small portion of the P-6 Thetis Lake Regional Park zone.

Council suggested Mr. Paumier and Ms. Moriarty consider applying to the Capital Regional District to operate a food truck at Thetis Lake Regional Park.

a) Living/Coping during the COVID-19 Pandemic – Council Leadership and Inspiration – Councillor Lemon

Councillor Lemon noted that she was contacted by a resident who felt residents would welcome leadership and ideas from elected officials on how they are living their lives during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Councillor Lemon will investigate ideas for short, inspirational video clips from View Royal residents, potentially including elected officials, to be posted on the Town’s Facebook and Twitter sites.
