1 CALL TO ORDER
May 18, 2020Neighbors since the early 2000's

May 18, 2020

Mayor David Screech and Council,

We are submitting this letter of support for Troy and Sue-Anne Carter’s application for a development variance permit (#3090-20-2020/01). We have had the pleasure of knowing Troy and Sue-Anne since the early 2000’s and became aware of their plans to build a workshop last year. On March 19, 2020 we provided our written support for their application related to the setback relaxation for the accessory building.

Troy and Sue-Anne are excellent neighbors and friends and we are very grateful for their consistent and above average commitment to make our neighborhood a better and safer place to live. We appreciate their effort in making our annual neighborhood get-togethers a success as they serve to bring us all closer together. We are also thankful in how Troy and Sue-Anne notify us when unusual activity occurs (in-person and via group email).

Troy is always willing to unconditionally help in a time of need, for example, last year he assisted us in building a fence and gate to keep our new puppy safe and this year he built us raised garden beds from repurposed wood. For 20 years we have also admired how they keep their home and property so well-groomed.

Troy and Sue-Anne are caring, and very considerate, approachable neighbors and we hope their application is approved.

Please feel free to contact us should you have any questions.

Sincerely,

George and Elham Moldovanos 1264 Stancil Lane Victoria, BC, V8Z-1R5
