Subject: Volunteer dinner.
I was chatting with Kim this morning and we touched on the volunteer dinner.
I think it just makes sense to cancel it at this point. But I wondered about doing the following.
We could give each of our volunteers a gift card that would buy them a dinner for two at either the four mile or the six mile. This would be a sign of appreciation for them and would give our local businesses some much needed support. It would cost less than having the dinner. We could just do half six mile and half four mile.
We will put it on the May 19th agenda but I wanted to give you a heads up.
Hope everyone has a good weekend.
