CALL TO ORDER – Mayor Screech called the meeting to order at 9:43 p.m.
APPROVAL OF AGENDA

MOVED BY: Councillor Lemon SECONDED: Councillor Kowalewich

THAT agenda be amended to include items 7.2(a-i) and 8(b)(1)(a); that item 8(b)(1) be moved to item 6.1(a); that item 8(b)(2) be removed from the agenda; and that item 8(c)(1-2) now be renumbered to item 8(b)(1-2);

AND THAT the agenda be approved as amended. CARRIED

MAYOR’S REPORT

The Mayor noted that staff are working towards livestreaming Council meetings with a view to including real-time public interaction in these. He indicated that he has received positive feedback from residents who appreciate that Town Hall has reopened.

6.1 STAFF REPORTS

a) Rezoning Application No. 2020/02 – 9 Erskine Lane

Report dated June 11, 2020 from the Senior Planner

The Director of Development Services gave an overview of the report to Council.

Council discussed public engagement, increased traffic and intersection improvements at Watkiss Way/Erskine Lane, affordable housing, and tree retention.

The Mayor noted that he, along with staff, would be happy to meet with the applicant to discuss the application.
