10. BYLAWS a) Not-for-Profit Rental Housing Development Cost Charges Reduction Bylaw No. 1020, 2019 A Bylaw to Reduce Development Cost Charges for Not-for-Profit Rental Housing (adoption)

11. NEW BUSINESS a) Capital Regional District (CRD) Regional Parks Acquisition Fund - Mayor Screech

    Proposed Recommendation: WHEREAS the number one priority of CRD Parks is to protect the region's biodiversity;

    WHEREAS the CRD Regional Parks Acquisition Fund has been a resounding success and protected over 4,200 hectares of land since its inception in the year 2000;

    WHEREAS extensive public consultation was held in the past year regarding the continuance of the fund in its present form;

    THEREFORE, be it resolved that the Mayor and Council write tot he CRD Board requesting that the vision, values and the principles of the Regional Parks Acquisition Fund be maintained;

    AND FURTHER THAT no changes are considered without extensive consultation with the pubic and all partners.
