The concerns we have with this development is that there is no public input. There has been no opportunity to actually see the developer, hear his plans and see their in-person responses to counsel and citizen questions. Erskine Lane is a narrow road, and there are a lot of walkers using the roadway to access the Galloping Goose. Before any development is started, sidewalks should be installed on both sides of the road, along with a bike lane on at least one side. Traffic lights should also be installed at Erskine and Watkiss to control construction traffic as well as the large increase in expected resident traffic.
Pandemic or not, more transparency has to happen with council meetings and development/rezoning applications.
