CANADA DAY CELEBRATIONS – PROPOSAL FOR ADVERTISING SIGN AT CRAIGFLOWER MANOR

RECOMMENDATION:

THAT an 8’x8’ sign for advertising the Canada Day celebrations on July 1, 2018 be approved for posting until Sunday, July 8, 2018 at the Craigflower Manor property.

PURPOSE OF REPORT:

To present Council with a request to grant the approval for posting an 8’x8’ sign for the purpose of advertising the Town of View Royal/Highland Games Society Canada Day celebrations to take place on July 1, 2018 on the Craigflower Manor property.

BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:

In conjunction with the Highland Games Society, the Town of View Royal will be hosting a Canada Day celebration on July 1, 2018 at the Craigflower Manor.

In order to advertise this joint initiative, the Highland Games Society wants to post an 8’x8’ sign on the Craigflower Manor property advertising the celebration with both the Town’s and Highland Games Society logos and date and hours of the event. The recommendation contains an end date by which the sign is to be removed.

RECOMMENDATION:

THAT an 8’x8’ sign for advertising the Canada Day celebrations on July 1, 2018 be approved for posting until Sunday, July 8, 2018 at the Craigflower Manor property.
