Subject: VGH parking
I urge Mayor and Council to pass a by-law banning paid parking at VGH. Please follow the lead of Duncan, Port Alberni, Courtenay/Comox, and Campbell River. I have had several visits to VGH in preparation for major cancer surgery, which will keep me in hospital for up to a week. Worrying about the parking meter running out adds unnecessary anxiety. If you take action, perhaps Victoria will follow with a paid parking ban at RJH.
