Dear Councillors
As you are undoubtedly aware, we who live on Highland Road have grave concerns with the proposal to establish a HandyDart depot at the corner of Watkiss and Burnside. The sheer scope of the proposal surprised us, and it will most certainly contribute to the congestion that already exists there during rush hour. Certainly there must be a site more industrial in nature where the depot could be located without impacting the surrounding residential areas.
