Appointment of Bylaw Enforcement Officer and Business License Inspector

RECOMMENDATION:

THAT the previous appointment of Enzo Calla to the position of Bylaw Enforcement Officer and Business License Inspector be hereby rescinded;

AND THAT Mark Groulx be appointed as Bylaw Enforcement Officer and Business License Inspector.

CHIEF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER’S COMMENTS:

I support the recommendation.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:

This is a Council appointed position to allow for the enforcement of the Town’s bylaws and business licensing functions

BACKGROUND / DISCUSSION:

With Mr. Calla leaving the Town in November 2017, recruitment was undertaken to replace the position. Mr. Mark Groulx is the successful candidate and starts his employment with the Town on February 5, 2018.
