This is to advise that there will be a City of Colwood Advisory Planning Commission meeting on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 3300 Wishart Road, Colwood, BC, at where the Commission will be considering the following proposed application:

Application: Rezoning Application RZ-17-004

Applicants: City of Colwood

Owners: City of Colwood

Locations: Corner of Ocean Boulevard and Island Highway (Park and Ride)

Legals: Reference Plan of Part of Road Dedicated by Plan 2740RW, Section 1, Esquimalt District

Current Zoning: Park and Open Space (P4) Zone

Purpose: To rezone the 0.73ha parcel of land designated as City Centre, in order to permit the development of a medical services building combined with office, commercial and retail space, and both underground and surface parking. The proposed height for this location is 6 storeys or 20m.

The site is currently being used as a park and ride facility located within the road right of way, which will require Council to create a legal parcel of land by closing this portion of road.

You are invited to attend this meeting to hear the proposal, ask questions of the applicant and to offer comments.
