Hello,
I am the President of the Greater Victoria Crossing Guards Association. I am pleased to say that we have completed the process of registering as a society and incorporation as well. We are now ready to apply for funding. We recognize this is well past the budget process and really hope that you have kept the need for funding this valued service in mind as you completed your budget plans. The solution to Beacon Community Services' withdrawal of their participation in this program came after your deadline for requests.
I have attached the application and copies of two letters, one from Greater Victoria School District's Superintendent(at the time) and one from Beacon Community Services.
I request an opportunity to speak to Council regarding this late application.
