RE: Grand-in-Aid — 2018 Spectrum Dry Grad

We wanted to thank you for the Grant-in-Aid contribution the Town of View Royal gave for the Spectrum Dry Grad. The event was held on June 16th at Pearkes Arena where we had 213 Grade 12 grads attend supported by over 80 parent volunteers to make the event happen. The students had a fun safe place to spend their last night together as a celebration of their graduation.

With the grant in aid money received from the Town of View Royal, that parent organizing committee was able to provide food and activities for the event while keeping the cost to a minimum for all students. All students wishing to attend were able to in part because of your contribution. A copy of the budget is attached for your records. The Town of View Royal has also been publicly recognized as a supporter of the Dry Grad Event on all their posters.

Thank you again for your support. It was much appreciated and I hope we can continue to count on your support as future Dry Grad Committees plan events for the students who live in our community.
