Good morning Mayor Screech,
I am writing to you on behalf of our girls softball team who have secured a spot to attend the Western Softball Championships in Kelowna, BC, August 9 – 12. We are the only team from Vancouver Island that will be attending.
Our team is looking for corporate sponsors to help assist our players with travel, accommodation and meals in order to attend the Westerns. Attached is a copy of our letter in that regard setting out our business card fundraiser with the Times-Colonist. I am hoping that the Town of View Royal will consider being one of our sponsors and help us on our journey to compete at the next level! We are so very proud of these young athletes and all they have accomplished thus far.
