JUAN DE FUCA RECREATION CENTRE FEES AND CHARGES BYLAW NO. 701, 2007, AMENDMENT BYLAW NO. 947, 2016

RECOMMENDATION:

THAT Council give first, second and third readings to Juan de Fuca Fees and Charges Bylaw No. 701, 2007, Amendment Bylaw No. 947, 2016.

I concur with the recommendation.

PURPOSE OF REPORT:

To present draft Amendment Bylaw No. 947, 2016 for first, second and third readings.

BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:

Annually, West Shore Parks and Recreation Society (WSPRS) submits proposed fees and charges for the upcoming year. The fees and charges set out in Schedules "A" and "B" of the attached Juan de Fuca Fees and Charges Bylaw No. 701, 2007, Amendment Bylaw No. 947, 2016 (see Attachment "A") were accepted by the West Shore Parks and Recreation Society Board of Directors on April 14, 2016 and have been referred to the member municipalities, including View Royal, for enactment as a bylaw.

Also attached for Council's reference are the fees and charges comparison 2015/16 to 2016/17 (see Attachment "B").

RECOMMENDATION:

THAT Council give first, second and third readings to Juan de Fuca Fees and Charges Bylaw No. 701, 2007, Amendment Bylaw No. 947, 2016.
