SANITARY SEWER RATES AND REGULATIONS BYLAW NO. 397, 2000, AMENDMENT BYLAW NO. 955, 2016
RECOMMENDATION:
THAT the Town of View Royal Sanitary Sewer Rates and Regulations Bylaw No. 397, 2000, Amendment Bylaw No. 955, 2016 be given first, second, and third readings.

PURPOSE OF REPORT:
To provide council with information on the changes contained within the Sanitary Sewer Rates and Regulations Bylaw No. 397, 2000, Amendment Bylaw No. 955, 2016, and the impact these changes will have on citizens of View Royal
TIME CRITICAL:
The bylaw must receive final reading and adoption prior to mailing the 2016 sewer user fee invoices. If the first three readings are provided at the October 4, 2016 council meeting, adoption will be able to occur at the October 18, 2016 council meeting, with invoices mailed that week.
BACKGROUND DISCUSSION:
The 2016 budget was set at $794,134. Of this, 15% is collected via a flat fee per single family dwelling unit and the remaining 85% is collected based on the annual winter water consumption from October 2015 to April 2016.
The required 2016 change in annual sewer fee is as follows:

THAT the Town of View Royal Sanitary Sewer Rates and Regulations Bylaw No. 397, 2000, Amendment Bylaw No. 955, 2016 be given first, second, and third readings.
